Inner Value of Collecting Willow Tree Figurines
Figurines add a touch of personality to your home. They come in all types and forms from animal figurines to crystal dragon figurines. Not only do figurines add some spice to your home but many people collect figurines as well, including myself. One of my favorites are the Willow Tree Figurines created by Susan Lordi. The Willow Tree Figurines are relatively new to the figurine scene, but they are gaining much popularity. The Willow Tree line of figurines was launched in 2000 without any textile mediums used at all. The first 16 figurines, which were angels and a couple nativity sets, were all hand crafted by Susan Lordi. Actually, all the Willow Tree Collectibles are first crafted by her hand, and then it is reproduced with loving detail by DEMDACO.
The figurines are pretty simple, with faceless expressions. Yet, they are very powerful at conveying specific emotions - through the body language of the figurine. These figurines are gaining much popularity and are quickly becoming a valuable collecting item. Some of the figurines are retired and becoming hard to find. If you enjoy collecting figurines as I do, I recommend looking into Willow Tree Figurines.
Willow Tree Figurines also make wonderful gifts for just about any occasion. The individual figurines are so affordable - the average is under $20 and many are less than $15. If you are looking for thoughtful, yet inexpensive gifts this holiday season, you have Willow Tree to consider.

Why do people like collectible figurines so much? Some enjoy the artistic nature of the figurines while others collect and sell them for profit. Collecting figurines for the sole purpose of profit may seem wrong in way, but dealing will cool figurines is a lot more fun than investing in the stock market. It may not be as profitable, but collectable figurines to gain value over time. Certain figurines that are discontinued and not made anymore are especially sought after and valuable.
For most collectors though, collecting figurines is not about profit but about the beauty and artistic nature of the figurines. A simple figurine can bring about emotions. Maybe it reminds you of a loved one who gave it to you or perhaps it just gives you a certain feeling from the way it is sculpted.
Collecting figurines is a great hobby to pick up. There is so many figures available to choose from no matter what your personal tastes are. The added bonus is the value these figurines will hold. Not just financially, but emotionally as well.
